What does PIR do?
Living with severe and persistent mental illness often makes navigating services difficult, and it is easy for your goals to get lost in amongst the noise. A PIR Support Facilitator will work with you to better understand where you are, where you want to be, and then help you figure out how to get there.
Am I eligible?
PIR works with people who: have a mental illness that significantly impacts their day-to-day life; and, has complex support needs that require assistance from multiple services across the community.
Because we take a person-centred approach, we will have a conversation with you to better understand your needs and see if we are best placed to help. If we don’t think we are the right service for you, we’ll help you find a service that is.
How do I access PIR?
To have a conversation about accessing PIR, please contact one of our partners in your area. If you want to refer a person you are about or support, please have a conversation with them first and make sure they are happy for you to make contact on their behalf. If you would prefer, you can complete an electronic referral and email it to one of our partners.
